Will Files is always looking for creative ways to bring filmmakers’ sonic visions to the screen. As a sound supervisor, sound designer and re-recording mixer, he has contributed to more than 100 films and TV shows, including such Hollywood blockbusters as The Invisible Man, Venom, Halloween (2018), War for the Planet of the Apes, Passengers, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Star Trek Into Darkness, Thor: The Dark World, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and Cloverfield, in addition to the much loved show Stranger Things an Sony Pictures’ highly-anticipated Ghostbusters: Afterlife. His credits include many animated films such as The Incredibles, Bee Movie, Madagascar 2 & 3 and Brave. He has also contributed to highly regarded independent films Honey Boy, Midnight Special, Mud and Take Shelter. In 2007, the Hollywood Reporter named Files one of the industry’s “brightest and most talented 35-and-under artisans.” He is the recipient of two MPSE Golden Reel Awards among 14 nominations.
