Supervising Sound Editor

Matt "Chato" Hill joined the Sony Pictures sound team in 2009 where his credits as Supervising Sound Editor include the television series The Goldbergs and Night Shift, among other projects. He won an MPSE Golden Reel Award in 2012 for his work on Homeland. He has two other Golden Reel nominations, for The Big C and Steel Magnolias, alongside a 2014 Emmy Award nomination for Bonnie & Clyde.

A Wisconsin native, Hill began his career with the pioneering sound studio Digital Sound & Picture. He later joined Todd AO. His credits as an assistant sound editor and dialogue editor encompass both features and television with highlights including The Sopranos, Deadwood, Silicon Valley and The Blacklist. He earned his first credit as a sound supervisor on the documentary East of Havana in 2006.
